Nothing beats Star Wars on the big screen. Even if the film isn't among my Star Wars favorites.

Ian McDiarmid is great, Ewan McGregor is enjoying himself, Natalie Portman is underused and I'm still curious what the in-universe explanation is to why the battle droids now have silly voices.

It was nice to see lots of people attending the 20th anniversary screening at the local cinema. To keep people safe from those treacherous Jedi, a couple of us troopers from Norwegian Garrison guarded the red carpet.

Breathtaking nature images and a cute story about a boy and his alpaca.

The main conflict of the film is a mining operation that threatens his small, rural community, but this is cleverly told in the background of the boy's story.

The film has some structural issues, but Renaldo the alpaca's hairdo is worth the admissison.

Sad and tender film about depression, grief and loneliness.

Remarkable craftsmanship and attention to details. Funny, but not cheerful. I had to eat a sugary pastry afterwards.

I know, I know, I'm late to the party. But it was worth the wait to get to see this on the big screen.

I had a blast! Yura Borisov was brilliant as Igor. And the titular character of Ani – absolutelty wonderfully played by Mikey Madison – had an impressive depth and range.

Lots of humor and warmth in an otherwise tense situation. I didn't even notice the long runtime.

Playful genre blending and energetic editing gives us an entertaining, non-linear story. But what is real and what is the failing memory of a senile, old belgium James Bond type?

Very violent at times, and also a bit confusing. I liked the style, but I'm not completely sold on the movie as a whole.

A charming lead in a touching and painful film about child marriages and awful traditions.

The message is not subtle at all, but the writing is good regardless. As is the cinematography.

An average documentary about the story behind the song made famous by Frank Sinatra.

It features lots of archival footage and talking heads interviews. I didn't feel like I've learned something that I couldn't have read in a Wikipedia article.

Having Jane Fonda doing the voiceover as the personification of the song was an odd choice.

The dream of becoming an influencer is something I don't understand. I had hoped this film would shed some light on this, but I am even more perplexed now.

The protagonist is flat and unlikable, and we never really learn why fame and this twisted beauty ideal is so important for her.

A film about a school as an allegory to fascist regimes.

The film tries a lot – it has themes of the surveillance society, the temptation to misuse power in times of crisis, and systemic racism – but never manages to fully engage.

Realistic acting and interesting family dynamic and moments in a time of conflict and violence. Still relevant today, sadly.

But too much noisy sibling squabbling and a shaky camera makes me lose interest.
